The Day Sailer is for cruising, April 1964

At the request of reader Roger, This article is provided. It was written by Robert Milligan, the owner of the very first Day Sailer which he called The One (I wonder what ever happened to her?) Mr. Milligan lays out in great detail his arrangement of The One for cruising. I'm amazed at all the equipment he was able to stow aboard his Day Sailer.

I would love to see a picture of this configuration! Very resourceful but I can't help but wonder if it was ever cruised a second time. Water must have been lapping at the gunwales.

I think that Mr. Milligan was active in the DSA for quite a while, and I expect he did sail that boat extensively. As I go through the issues, I'll see what else he wrote.
