Perhaps some of these folks live in San Leon?

The Galveston County Daily News recently reported that DirecTV has launched a series of lawsuits against Galveston County Homeowners. According to the story, A company called EQstuff, which manufactured ilegal access devices that allowed people to access direcTV programming without paying. "Three of EQStuff’s orders came from Santa Fe, Galveston and Dickinson, according to the lawsuit." I wonder if any of those folks are in San Leon. It wouldn't surprise me. DirectTv "...seeks up to $10,000 in punitive damages, in addition to an unspecified amount for what the company claims is lost profits and attorney fees it should not have to pay." I doubt that "Bubba" (my term for the local gentry) has that kind of money. If he was, it might result in more houses going up on the Sheriff's auctions. After all, he's got to have his Pay-per-view wrestling before he pays his mortage. And if a lawsuit takes his mortage payments away, what's the poor ol' boy to do, right?
That's what I call expensive pay-per-view.
