It's been far too long, and I haven't felt much like writing, but that's no excuse.
So:
I spent the last week travelling up the heartland of this great country of ours(Sounds like I'm running for office, no?)
When I left a week ago Wednesday it was the standard rush at the last minute. It was garbage day, rain had been pouring not two days since and the cardboard boxes from some appliances we bought had soaked it all up. Hauling the things to the trash delayed my departure by 1/2 hour and by the time I finished pulling the wet cellulose to the street I was soaked in sweat. As a final jab, I was attacked by some fire ants before I got into my truck. I mopped the beads of sweat from my brow turned up the A/C to max and got the hell out of dodge.
Well that's an entry. More later. I need to do other things.
